We have a large range of late model hire cars which range between sedans, hatchbacks and 4WD station wagons with either automatic or manual transmission. All vehicles are equipped with Power Steering, Air Conditioning and Radio/Cassette players. Vehicles are also covered by the Automobile Association 24-Hour Roadside Assistance scheme for your own peace of mind.

All car rental charges include:

Unlimited kilometres (require a minimum 4 day hire period)
comprehensive insurance ($1,000 deductible/excess)
All NZ taxes.

Travel New Zealand Rentals One Way Hires

If you are travelling both the North and South Islands you will have the choice of exchanging the vehicle in either Picton or Wellington. This will save you the cost of the vehicle on the ferry or you may decide to use the same vehicle and take your Travel New Zealand Rental car on the ferry. Your luggage can then stay in your car. The choice is yours. Just let us know when you confirm your booking. We will be pleased to make your ferry reservations for you.
